Position: 2 positions for Metal Machinist, permanent, full-time
Location: Rotorua
Hourly rate: $30 - $35
Hours: Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday night shift

The Opportunity:
We’re seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Metal Machinist to join our team and contribute to the design and manufacture of specialized mechanical components. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting and varied projects across multiple construction disciplines. Bring your broad skill base and play an integral role in our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate Okuma multi-axis CNC milling machines and lathes.
- Manufacture one-off components on a manual lathe.
- Produce components to specification, based on drawings and instructions.
- Work to fine tolerances and ensure high-quality output.
- Assess and identify any design challenges or anomalies on drawings, suggesting improvements.
- Comply with health and safety procedures and company standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 4 qualified or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and training.
- Fit & healthy with a strong team player attitude and a great sense of humour.
- A genuine personal investment in Health & Safety.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and ongoing drug & alcohol test.
