Hayes International is a market leader in the roll forming industry. We have been manufacturing equipment for over 60 years and continue to export globally. We have an exciting opportunity within our team for someone who is self-motivated, possesses great communication skills, works well within a team, has excellent time-management skills and the motivation to grow their role.
Supporting our external Sales team, your day-to-day role will include qualification, follow up and processing customer enquiries through to preparation of quotations, technical specification, and customer orders. Once on board, understanding our industry and the bespoke machinery we manufacture is key to succeeding in this role.
In order to be successful in this role you will be:
- Confident with computer skills in Microsoft office suite, e.g. Word and Excel, Outlook
- Confident and articulate, with above average communication skills
- Proficient with your written presentation skills
- Skilled at building relationships
- A natural in sales and marketing
- From a mechanical background or have a good mechanical aptitude.
Additionally, you will have or be able to learn:
- The use of a CRM customer database
- Experience with ERP systems for sales activity, order entry and related activity
The role will initially support our sales and service staff with internal sales, with an opportunity to transition over time, into a sales role selling our range of roll-forming equipment around the world.
