Coil Car

Hayes Coil Cars are a simple and easy way to increase efficiency when loading coils onto an uncoiler, whether from a forklift or overhead gantry. Hayes coil cars allow you to get another coil ready to load on the uncoiler without stopping production.

The Hayes Coil Car has a fabricated steel design finished in a lacquer paint finish to match your machine line. An electric gear motor powers the coil car forwards and backwards across a set of heavy-duty steel rails. Raising and lowering the coil cradle is performed via a hydraulic cylinder and an onboard power pack is contained within the coil car's body.

A rotating coil cradle can be optioned to load coils from a different orientation when required.
