The Hayes 'Hands Free' system is a safer and easier way to feed coils into rollforming machines. Paired with an uncoiler snubber the 'peeler arm' is positioned by the operator in front of a new coil, with the snubber holding the coil in place the coil bindings can be cut and the coil unwound. The peeler arm will guide the coil into the infeed section with minimal operator intervention. The Hayes 'Hands free' system is fabricated from welded steel and painted in a lacquer finish, the peeler arm is pneumatically driven and when paired with a dual level machine can be raised and lowered to the desired level by electric gearmotor. The 'Hands free' system is operated via the uncoiler console.
